Graal Online Classic iPhone - The Hat Guidelines

Benefits:

  1. You get a copy for free.

  2. You get it before it's sold in stores or used in events.

  3. You get to see people use your graphics in game.

(We do not allow any personal hats. We only allow guild hats if the guild has 1,000 tower hours.)

Making the hat:

1. Only attempt to make a hat if you've had experience with other graphics. If you had a sword or a shield uploaded without any issues, then you should be fine. But if you never made anything before, you might wanna try doing a shield or something simple first. We require you to put a lot of time into your hats. We only accept very few. You should know the basic rules (not to save as jpg, use a single colored background, etc..)

2. Make your hat stand out. Although we use recolors/edits, we do not accept them from players. Remember, you're getting your hat free. Work for it. Do something original. Edits can be accepted if they are different and well done. Also, do not recreate hats or use hats from copyrighed characters. :)

3. Detail your hat. Don't use cheap shading like gradients. Put time into your hat and hand paint it. Remember, we're only accepting very few hats. You're competing against everyone else who submitted a hat. Make your hat the best. You're better off just sticking to one really good hat rather than making a bunch of hats like most people do.

4. Wait patiently. We only accept hats when we need to. A lot of other players submit hats too. Send your hat to classic@graalonline.com when you are 100% sure you're done.

Tips:
Although tooled hats are allowed, we prefer hand pixeled ones.
Don't show your hats to everyone. They may try to send it in as their own.
Make sure your hat will be something people will like. There are different styles and such, we understand that. Not everyone may like your hat. But don't make something really stupid that nobody would wear. :)
Don't annoy staff about your hat. We may blacklist you from ever having a hat uploaded.
Also if you are caught trying to steal graphics, you may also be blacklisted.
